Luigi Cambri,
a notary by day and a photographer by night.
I have been a notary in Italy for 25 years, but I have been taking pictures for much longer, since I was a child, without digital cameras.
I found out how to use timing and diaframma for myself and I spent many nights locked in a dark room wearing my fingertips out and realizing how important framing is and how hard post-production alterations are.
There is nothing like the moment your image appears from the water... photography is a love enducing chemical mystery.
I am specialized in "streetlife" photography, in which timing and alertness are of the essence, as well as a good background of technique acquired during my travels in every continent and my 50.000 photographs.
Photography is a visual art that conveys culture, and by doing so enriches every man: a man without culture is like a tree without water!
I am curious and sensitive like any photographer should be: curious because who is curious is always exploring, and who explores is always ready to take pictures, and sensitive because who lets himself experience emotions will also show the most emotions.
I hope my photographs will move who sees them, just like they have moved me!
Lately I have collaborated with architects and interior designers, who have bought my photos to complete the design and furnishing of clients' houses.
The photos are either chosen among the ones I already have or commissioned with a certain theme.
